During May and June of 2013 this page functioned to make the the process of contacting Councillors, local water authorities and Ministers easier whilst they were deliberating on Skibbereen Town Council’s motion calling for an immediate cessation to water fluoridation.
Unfortunately the flawed F.S.A.I. report was cited widely as a reason to ignore Skibbereen and continue with this outdated mandatory governmental policy.
Unfortunately Phil Hogan who was the minister for the Enviornment at the time also abolished the town councils. At the time the Minister for the Enviornment had a duty to protect and improve the quality of drinking water, a duty which has fallen in the abyss.
Fair play to the fallen town council of Skibbereen.
